FAQ
Privacy, without the guesswork.
What information can Deleto help remove?
Deleto is being developed to help with eligible listings on supported people-search sites and data brokers, including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and family connections. Coverage will depend on connected providers; live removal is not available yet.
What is a data broker?
A company that collects personal information from sources such as public records and other businesses, then combines, shares or sells it. You don't need to have an account with a broker for it to hold information about you.
Does Deleto remove information from Google?
Removing a listing at its original source is different from removing a Google search result. Search results may take time to update. Deleto does not currently offer Google removal requests, and some public records or other sources may not be eligible for removal.
How long do removal requests take?
Response times depend on the website, applicable law and any identity checks. Some sources may take weeks or require additional steps. A submitted request is not a confirmed removal, and Deleto does not promise a fixed completion time.
Can information appear again after removal?
Yes. A source can obtain your information again, and other sites may hold separate copies. Scheduled reviews of supported sources are planned to help identify potential reappearances; monitoring is not currently operational.
Does Deleto guarantee that all my information will disappear?
No. No service can remove everything online. Some public records, news articles and other sources may not qualify for removal. Results depend on each source's process, verification requirements and applicable law.
What information does Deleto need from me?
Matching a listing may require your name, location and the contact details you want to protect. The exact requirements will be explained before a live scan is available. This demonstration does not collect scan identifiers.
How does Deleto protect my personal information?
Data minimization, clear permissions and transparent retention practices guide our approach. Customer accounts and live scans are not available yet. Our security approach and draft privacy policy describe what still needs to be implemented and reviewed before launch.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Paid subscriptions and checkout are not available yet. Cancellation, renewal and refund terms must be finalized before billing opens; the prices shown are approved plan prices, not active offers.
What happens if a website refuses a removal request?
A refusal is not a removal. Some sources may require verification, allow a follow-up, or have a legal basis to keep a record. Deleto's planned request tracking will distinguish requests needing attention from confirmed removals.
Which data broker sites are supported?
Live source coverage has not been verified or published yet. The directories shown in the preview are illustrative categories, not connected brokers. A confirmed list of supported sources and any limitations will be published before live scanning opens.
How does removal work?
The planned process starts with reviewing a potential match. After you authorize an eligible request, Deleto would submit it to the source and track its response. Submitted and awaiting-response requests remain separate from confirmed removals; live submission is not available yet.
